It's a clever idea that certainly adds interest to your layout. Unfortunately I have some complaints.Assembly is fairly straightforward except for certain details which are illustrated poorly. And since it's a German design the English part is minimal and sometimes misleading.Additionally, the motor comes with absolutely no specs or descriptions whatsoever. No voltage, RPM, polarity, nothing.Testing revealed it's an AC motor, which won't work with my DC-powered layout.Luckily I always have a few assorted DC motors in my junk drawer, and I found a 12-volt mini motor that's perfect for this application.Another complaint is that some of the parts are so tiny and delicate that it's all you can do to get them off the sprue without damaging them. The worst of the tiny parts are the "hangers" that attach the chair assemblies to the turntable. One speck of glue in the wrong place ruins them forever.I recommend doing what I did, which is replace the hangers with fine copper wire, which requires no glue and cannot break.Admittedly, the finished product looks pretty cool, especially when moving, and with twelve seated N-scale children (NOT included). And my final complaint is the price. As cute as it is, there's just no way it's worth more than seven or eight dollars, period. So, buy at your own risk.
